What exactly is a blog?

A “blog” is a commonly used contraction of the word “weblog.” It is both a noun (“a blog”) and a verb (“to blog”). It can be a part of a Website’s content or it can even be the sole content of an entire site. Simply put, a blog consists of entries on one or several topics. You can think of it as a journal, except that the content is usually displayed in reverse chronological order with the most recent entries at the top.Blogs are usually made up primarily of text entries, but they can also include images, video, audio and any other type of media. Blog entries can be made by the creator and/or the users of the Website, and they can even be automatically generated. Blogs can be used by anyone from simple individuals to huge corporations.

As such, your blog can be tailored to better reflect your personal tastes or corporate identity;
  • Easy - Blogs are easy to create and they are even easier to maintain.
